Vuoden 1963 T-Bird on hyvässä kunnossa ja sitä myy Ebayssa Beverly Hills Car Club. Klubin isäntä Alex Manos sanoo: ”This is such a special car to me. I knew Joe Strummer as a boy growing up in London. He was one-of-a-kind, just like this car. Joe had an enormous love for American cars and I feel it’s serendipitous that this beautiful 1963 Ford Thunderbird is coming to us for sale.”
Vaihtoehtomusiikin edelläkävijän Thunderbird on kaupan 21. elokuuta asti ja tällä hetkellä 51-vuotiaan kaaran hinta on hieman alle kaksikymmentä tuhatta euroa.
Vuosituhannen alkupuolella menehtynyt Strummer omisti auton vuosina 1987-2002.
