Orkesterin tiedonanto on kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan seuraava: "After 23 years, Dismember have now decided to quit. We wish to thank all our fans for your support."
Dismemberin Fred Estby, David Blomqvist ja Tobias Cristiansson sekä Nifelheimin Tyrant ovat samalla perustaneet heavymetal/hardrock-yhtye Daggerin. Porukka etsii tällä hetkellä laulajaa.
