R&B music legend Bobby Womack has unfortunately been forced to postpone his upcoming August 2012 scheduled concert dates and in-person promotional appearances International and Domestic, to fully heal from a lingering bout of pneumonia. His physicians have expressed the expectation that he is in the process of making a fully recovery but have ordered him to remain off the road and on bed rest at this time.
Bobby Womack states, “I send my deepest apologies to my loyal fans around the world, and would like to thank them for their unwavering love, support and well wishes during my stay here at the hospital. Once rescheduled, I’m looking forward to seeing all of you on my upcoming world tour in the fall of 2012, in support of my new album, The Bravest Man In The Universe. I also want to thank my management team and XL Recordings family.”
