Yli kuusi vuosikymmentä kestäneen uran musiikin parissa luonut rumpali Ronnie Tutt on kuollut. 83-vuotiaana menehtynyt Tutt vaikutti Elvis Presleyn TCB Bandin ja Jerry Garcia Bandin lisäksi myös muun muassa Billy Joelin taustalla.

Dallasissa syntynyt Tutt liittyi Presleyn yhtyeeseen 1960-luvun lopulla.
1970-luvulla Tutt toimi korkean profiilin kiertue- ja sessiorumpalina, soittaen muun muassa Jerry Garcia Bandin debyyttilevy Cats Under the Starsilla ja Garcian Reflections– ja Run for the Roses -sooloalbumeilla.
