Yhtye on aikaisemminkin tehnyt suuria versiointeja, kuten coveroinut kokonaisuudessaan Pink Floydin The Dark Side Of The Moon –albumin vuonna 2009.
Tällä kertaa The Flaming Lipsin kanssa Beatles–tuotannon kimpussa ovat yhteistuumin muun muassa Miley Cyrus, Maynard James Keenan ja Moby.
Coveralbumi With A Little Help From My Fwends julkaistaan Suomessa 31.10. Albumin tuotolla tuetaan Bella Foundation -organisaatiota The Flaming Lipsin kotikaupungissa Oklahomassa. Organisaatio auttaa vähäosaisia lemmikinomistajia eläinlääkärikustannuksissa.
