Kaikki viime päivinä Facebookissa vierailleet lienevät havainneet, että ”teinilevyhaaste” on ottanut sosiaalisen median hallintaansa. Joka toinen FB-käyttäjä listaa tälläkin hetkellä omia teini-iän suosikkialbumejaan, koska kyllähän ne tarjoavat hauskan kurkistuksen listaajan nuoruusvuosiin ja sielunelämään. Ja listaaminen on aina kivaa – paitsi silloin, kun pitää listata musiikkilehteen vuoden parhaita levyjä, silloin se on hirveää.
Nyt Soundin tekijäkunta tarjoaa oman panoksensa keskusteluun. Alemmas on listattu lehden nykyisten ja entisten tekijöiden suosikkeja vathaisilta ikävuosilta. Kuten arvata saattaa, listat eivät ole mitään täydellisen definitiivisiä nuoruusvuosien soundtrackeja vaan lähinnä nippu levyjä, joihin kirjoittajilla kehkeytyi teinivuosinaan erityinen suhde. Samojen artistien muitakin albumeja olisi voitu laittaa listalle, mutta juuri näissä oli jotain erityistä, minkä vuoksi ne tulivat kirjoittajille ensimmäiseksi mieleen.
Listan aloittaa päätoimittaja Mikko Meriläinen, ja perästä löytyvät niin pitkäaikaisen päätoimittajan Timo Kanervan kuin sekalaisten lehden ja verkkosivujen tuottajien ja avustajienkin listoja.
