Skottibändi Biffy Clyron ja jenkkiryhmä Nine Inch Nailsin välille syntyi jonkinasteinen kärhämä Readingin jättifestivaalilla elokuun lopulla.
Pääesiintyjästatuksensa Biffy Clyrolle menettänyt NIN-pomo Trent Reznor twiittasi kuuluisan ”the lying promoter and the band following us (whoever the fuck they are) fucked us on our production” -kommenttinsa ennen keikkaa ja aika monet odottivat Biffy Clyron vastausta vielä samana iltana.
Bändi kuitenkin malttoi tuolloin mielensä, mutta Biffy-pomo Simon Neil on nyt puhunut australialaiselle Faster Louderille. Sanatarkka lainaus näyttää seuraavalta: ”He basically spat his dummy out. Nine Inch Nails are a huge band and they’ve been headlining loads of festivals everywhere and I think their manager or someone told him they weren’t headlining Reading and Leeds, God forbid, and he decided to take it out on us.”

– Nine Inch Nailsin sopimus ei ole muuttunut millään tavalla allekirjoitushetken jälkeen, joten asiassa ei ole mitään epäselvää, Benn sanoo.
